Fish for huge halibut, cod, rockfish, snapper and sea bass. These waters also abound in chinook, coho, humpback, sockeye and chum salmon. Countless lakes, streams and rivers in the area also provide incredible fishing for steelhead, both freshwater and sea-run forms of rainbow and cutthroat trout and grayling. For the independent angler who prefers to fish unguided around the many islands, inlets and back eddies near the resort, you may book an unguided trip complete with a 19 foot outfitted skiff. A self-guided trip is $2,150 for 6 days/6 nights. Fully guided fishing with a licensed and experienced guide is $3,025 (6 days/6 nights) and includes a spacious cabin cruiser which gives greater range and access to a larger selection of prime fishing spots. Trip length can be customized to suit your desires and non-fishing companions can be accommodated. Your catch will be custom processed, vacuum packed, frozen and sealed in special wet-lock boxes to accompany you home as luggage. Rates include deluxe rooms, all meals, all fishing equipment and bait, local airport transfers, all weather gear-you just have to get to Ketchikan! 

When this huge lake is advertised as "Home of the Monster Pike"-they are not exaggerating. Located in a remote corner of the far north, this outfitter offers world class northern pike, lake trout, walleye and arctic grayling fishing. The 1999 season was the best to date, so the careful conservation practices are paying off! A potential new Saskatchewan record pike of 53 inches was caught and released in the main lake as were other 50+ inch pike. Guests caught 1,394 pike over 36 inches and 508 over 40 inches in length. Fly-out lakes produced some 48 inchers and hundreds of other trophy sized pike. Our anglers also caught walleye to 30 inches, grayling to 17 inches and decent sized lake trout. Improvements for 2000 include upgraded cabins and lodge, some new boats/ motors and airstrip. Various packages are available; 3 days- $1,895, 4 days-$2,095 and 7 days at $2,895. All packages include R/T air from Saskatoon to camp, accommodations in snug cabins with showers, good home cooking, daily guide service(2x1) and custom fishing boats. Outpost camps start at only $1,295 (4 days) and includes R/T charter from Saskatoon, float plane to camp, boats with gas and cabin with complete essentials for your stay. You just bring your tackle and groceries. New adventure-combine fishing at an outpost camp (4 days) and fishing from the main lodge(3 days) for $2,350 per person. Other combinations are possible. A day in paradise begins with a good, early breakfast and chances are you will have your first tarpon tail walking by 6:00 in the morning! Fish until noon then back to the lodge for lunch, a dip in the pool and a short nap. Then you and your guide will fish again until dark. World class tarpon and snook fishing plus off shore reef fishing for snapper, jack crevalle, king mackerel, wahoo and tuna. An endless network of backwaters and rivers offer the angler exciting exotic fishes including machaca, majara, guapote and mangrove snapper. January-May is best for tarpon, June- August is still very good for tarpon and best for reef fishing, late August- November is the peak time for giant snook. The fall is also still good tarpon and river fishing. Fishing packages include two nights in San Jose, luxury accommodations and all beverage and gourmet meals at the lodge, fishing guides, ocean boats, prescheduled charters to and from the lodge and all transfers. Some of the best bass fishing anywhere many, many bass over 7 pounds. Anglers caught over 200 bass that weighed from 9-14 pounds in 1998-99. Lake El Salto is located in the beautiful Sierra Madre Mts. just 90 minutes from Mazatlan. Combine salt water fishing, wing shooting , golf, beaches and shopping. Bass fishing season is from October thru May. Packages include deluxe lakeside lodging, all meals at lodge, tracker boats, guide, open bar, soft drinks and laundry service. 3 nights/ 3 days fishing -$1,195 and 4 nights / 3 days fishing $1,295.
